Every Mark Honoré piece begins as a single hide of full-grain  leather. Skins are sourced primarily from Italy or New Zealand. These skins are selected for "cleanness" of grain . (lack of scars or tick marks). Australian sourced skins mostly Kangaroo are selected for wallets. There is quite likely no other leather worldwide that is more suited to wallet production. Kangaroo Leather is thin, strong and last longing.
